All-District Tryouts..

Are this Saturday. Oh. My. Gods. I'm so nervous.

Okay, All-District is where the participants from all the schools in the district try out for a few elite spots in the All-District Band. Only the best make it. I'm SO nervous!

You go into this room and sit down. There are judges behind a curtain, and you play for them.

They have two tryout songs, about seven lines each. You play those, they judge your style, accuracy, and basically everything about it.

Then, you have to know your scales. The required ones are C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, G. I know all those..

Remember, these are for Bb clarinet.

C - Starts on D, F and C are sharp.
F - Starts on G, F is sharp.
Bb - Starts on C, all are natural.
Eb - Starts on F, B is flat.
Ab - Starts on B, B and E are flat.
G - Starts on A, C, F, and G are sharp.


WOO.

Finally, you have to have a chromatic scale spanning two octaves.

Like.. C, C sharp/D flat, D, D sharp/E flat, E, F, F sharp/G flat, G, G sharp/A flat, all the way through TWO octaves and back down.

Basically, my name's Kaley, but you can call me by my name or, based on what website you know me on, you may want to call me Beauty, Shiny, or something else, and that's fine.<3

I live in the US, Kentucky to be exact. I love horses, canines, and felines. I'm fourteen.

I mainly draw horses and anything horse-based (unipegs.). I do draw Pokemon from time to time, mainly Eevee and it's evos. I also draw dogs, foxes, and the rare cat. I consider myself best at horses/unipegs. xD

I have four pets, and I love them dearly. Jasper and Daizy are Boston Terriers, he's four and she's one and a half. We raised Jass from a puppy and recently rescued Daizy, and they love eachother and get along great.

Graystripe is my cat. We don't know how old she is or what kind of cat she is, but nobody ever keeps track of that kind of stuff with cats anyway. xD We raised her from a kitten.

Ginger is my gorgeous sorrel four year old mare. She's an American Quarter Horse / American Saddlebred mix. She's eleven years old, and is my first horse. She was bought for me last year so I'd shut up begging for a horse. She's extremely stubborn, lazy, and clumsy, but I love her to death. She hates moving fast. Tell her to do anything more than a trot and she bucks. Wonderful horse for a beginner, isn't she? xD She DOES teach you how to hold on. xD
